Honestly, it doesn’t get any simpler than this. Don’t mind that it only has four ingredients, you will score with this winning recipe. Without fail, every time I serve this dip, I’m asked for the recipe.
Super Simple Super Bowl Dip
You will definitely score points with this super simple dip! Be prepared to share the recipe.
- 1 large container sour cream
- 1 envelope Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 roma tomato, seeded and diced
In a medium bowl, blend the dressing mix with the sour cream. Fold in the diced avocado and tomato. Refrigerate until ready to serve. I think it’s best when made at least 1 hour in advance to allow the flavors to meld. However, if you plan to make it farther in advance, wait to add the tomatoes until just before serving because they will release liquid and make the dip runny.
Serve with crudite (for the healthy eaters) and kettle potato chips (for the rest of us).
